Patients from our physical therapy practice share their experiences:

The exercises for home have helped me a lot

"After a herniated disc, I went to Benjamin's office for rehab. In addition to physiotherapy, I was shown many exercises that I could do at home. This helped me to get back into shape quickly. Thank you for that."

Beate H.

"

Since the training I had less downtime

"I play in a soccer club in my spare time. In the past, I was constantly absent due to injuries. A colleague then recommended that I train here at the practice. Since then, my fitness has improved a lot and I'm more focused on the field."

Theo B.

"

I have finally found the right practice for me

"I have been to several physical therapists to have my migraines treated. In the long term, however, it has unfortunately not worked with anyone. In Benny's practice I finally feel in good hands, because everything fits here in terms of people and performance."

The most important questions and answers about a visit to our physiotherapy practice

News on the Corona Pandemic

If a viral infection of the respiratory tract is suspected or you are suffering from flu-like symptoms, please do NOT visit our physiotherapy practice without prior telephone arrangement. We thank you for your understanding.

You can reach us at: 030 8266340

When is physiotherapy useful?

In principle, physiotherapy is always useful, whether for relieving pain, improving mobility, building up muscles after operations and injuries or for prevention. Physiotherapy can also help you improve your athletic performance.

What do I have to keep in mind for my 1st appointment?

At your first appointment, we take a lot of time for you in order to assess your problems in the best possible way. Therefore, we ask you to be with us about 10 minutes before the start of the appointment. You will receive an intake form from us, which you should fill out before the start of therapy. Make your further appointments after the first treatment at the latest. The co-payment should be paid by the second treatment at the latest.

What do I need to bring to the treatment?

Please bring your health insurance card, the doctor's prescription and, if you are exempt from co-payment, your exemption certificate with you to the treatment. If available, please bring relevant documents such as findings, X-rays or surgery reports with you to your first treatment. Please take your own towel with you to each treatment. We even recommend that you bring 2 towels with you, as we have to air the rooms for approx. 3 minutes per treatment due to the Covid situation and it might get a little fresh for a short time, especially in the winter months.

What should I wear to the treatments?

Depending on the treatment, you can come in normal clothes or should dress in sporty and comfortable clothes. If you are unsure which type of clothing is right, please feel free to ask or simply take a change of clothes with you. You have the possibility to change in our changing room before the treatment.

Do I need a referral from the doctor to get an appointment?

No. The detailed examination and diagnosis can be done by our sectoral alternative practitioner. This saves you the trip to the doctor and you can start treatment quickly.

How many treatments are necessary?

Since we work with constant evaluations, we cannot make an exact statement about how many treatments are necessary. We always pay attention to the individual situation of the patient and their state of health.

I no longer get a prescription, but would like to continue the treatment. Is that possible?

Yes, you are welcome to continue the treatment as a self-pay service. You can purchase different treatment times and discuss with your physiotherapist how you can sensibly continue the treatment.

How do I make an appointment at the practice?

To make an appointment, you can use the contact form on our website or click on one of the red" Make an appointment now" buttons. Once you have clicked on the button, simply enter your details in the appropriate fields and select a time period for a call back. Then all you have to do is click on "Request appointment" and we will call you back within 24 hours.

Will I be treated by a different physiotherapist at each appointment?

As a rule, we make sure that all treatments are assigned to one physiotherapist when appointments are made, so that there should be no changes. Exceptions, however, are holidays, illness or further training.

How long does a treatment take?

Treatments vary depending on the application. Most therapies usually last 20 minutes, but there are exceptions such as Bobath where one session lasts. The service of the sectoral alternative practitioner can be used to buy additional time so that therapy goals can be achieved more quickly.
